Dr. James Stirland discovered his love for dentistry while attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he graduated with a BS in Neuroscience.
It was while on active duty with the U.S. Army that he developed valuable dental skills, including placing dental implants to restore missing teeth; periodontal surgeries to restore oral health in diseased tissue or as a necessary prep for other procedures; endodontic procedures; extensive surgical cases such as wisdom teeth removal, biopsies, and trauma; orthodontics; pedodontics; and overall comprehensive care of each patient.
Dr. Stirland loves being able to help people reach their fullest potential in oral health through teaching. His favorite part of dentistry is the role he plays in helping boost his patient’s confidence by helping them turn their lives from painful insecurity to a healthy, confident smile. His patients recognize his calm and kind nature, and feel comfortable and at ease in his care.
When not in the dental office, you can find Dr. Stirland with his beautiful wife, Rachel, and their three wonderful children hitting the rivers to fish, playing soccer in the backyard, or exploring a new trail!
